Last night I decided to try a new recipe from Pinterest. It was a salmon recipe. I love fish, but salmon is not one of them. I have been determined to try & find a recipe for it that I like. Last nights was a simple recipe. Aluminum foil, lemons, butter, pepper & of course the salmon. on the foil you place slices of lemons. On top of the lemon you place the salmon, then butter & cracked pepper. Wrap foil loosely around the ingredients & place on baking sheet in oven at 300* for approx. 30 min or until fish flakes loosely.
Now, when I clicked on my pinned item on Pinterest it did not go to the website this originally came from. It gave me an error page so I had no clue on amounts of butter or anything. I just used 1TBSP per piece of fish.
My opinion is that it was dry. I could have used a LOT more butter. I love butter. The flavor was a nice light lemony flavor. I thought it was nice. It wasn't bad. My hubby however said he would be ok if I never fix it again. :) I served it with brown rice & a California medley of veggies with cajun seasoning on them.
I personally felt like this would be a heart healthy meal, IF you aren't using a ton of butter.
To that my friends, I will have another sip of java & do some laundry or something productive.
Maybe........
